Maja has been writing almost as long as she has been alive. During middle school and high school, her poems and short creative nonfiction pieces were featured in numerous children programs with the Croatian National Radio, as well as published in various Croatian Children’s magazines.
Fast forward a lot of years…Being multilingual, Maja also writes in Croatian and Italian. She also holds an MA in English from Northern Kentucky University where she advanced her English and took it to the next level.
Maja is currently working on a major project that involves an extensive research in early childhood music education. Early childhood, a period of rapid change and development is the most critical period in a child’s musical growth. This new, enriched curriculum that she is designing will focus on creative and systematic learning, understanding, playing and performing in various music genres in a new, striking way.
In her spare time, Maja enjoys writing memoirs, poetry, as well as music reviews.
